Inside the The Heart of 2 Fish 5 Loaves Ministry
2 Fish 5 Loaves was born out of servant’s heart at CCPA recollecting on her experiences in the past and understanding the need for the church to reach out to the community instead of anticipating them walking through the door. After weeks of back and forth planning while wrestling in prayer, it was decided to take the missions’ heart to the street. We had no clue how it would turn out, but had a true understanding of what the Lord’s heart was in serving His people. We didn’t have funding, a strategic plan, or even a menu, but we had the Spirit’s call. As we loaded up for the train station, we prayed and packed, awaiting the Lord’s arrival.
Ever since, we have been blown away by the abundance that has been provided for the nourishment of body and soul. Our aim is to serve more than physical food to those in need; one can certainly be hungry in more ways than one.
