In Genesis chapters 5&6, population kept increasing and genealogies leading to Jesus identified. All the while, every intent of the thoughts of the heart of man was only evil continually. God saw the wickedness of man’s heart and declared He would not contend with man forever. So He pauses and brings to light the heart of one man. “Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.” He was a man who was in this crazy world yet as an individual Noah was just, perfect, and walked with God. Perhaps best described, we are told that “Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.” He walked in God’s grace. This is something every believer who walks with God will find, GRACE. That’s a free gift that is offered by God to anyone who would believe in Jesus. As a result of walking in grace, God speaks to Noah and includes him in the plan of salvation. We will see in the next chapters how Noah is used in this plan.
So God’s grace… are you walking with God in His grace? This grace is found in Jesus and by Him you are clearly seen by God as just and perfect through faith.
